French photographer Bernard Bakalian followed Ayrton Senna from the early days. He has just finished a book which is best resumed as a personal portrait of the Brazilian champion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bernard Bakalian is a long-time motorsport photographer and friend of many a racing driver. He has built up a huge collection of photographs, both \u2018on the job\u2019 and on more personal private days with drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From these archives, he has now compiled a book on Ayrton Senna, on the thirtieth anniversary of the triple F1 world champion\u2019s passing. As Bakalian explains, this is mostly a look-back in pictures on the Brazilian\u2019s career, with many previously unseen images making it into the book. Alain Prost has written the forword for \u2018Mes ann\u00e9es F1, Ayrton Senna\u2019 (My Years in F1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

250 numbered copies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For ideal photo reproduction, a heavy 300-gram paper is used. A dedicated digital printing technique guarantees the quality expected from such an exclusive book. Bakalian will only have 250 numbered copies printed, each on individual order. The production time is 30 to 40 days. Each copy is bound in soft touch \u2018Cloud Nuage\u2019 simili leather and with the cover photograph printed on a solid, mat paper. A Plexiglas display case, with magnetic locks, comes with the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
