The organisers have created a \u2018best of\u2019 theme, with Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, Mercedes 300 SL, Ford GT40 and other icons on display.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, <a href=\"https:\/\/interclassics.events\/classic-car-show-maastricht\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Interclassics<\/a> has grown into the biggest classic car show in the Lowlands with venues in Brussels and Maastricht, but 30 years ago, Interclassics was mainly fuelled by ambition. By bringing hundreds of classic cars to their show venues, Interclassics quickly became a must-see event. The cover car for this year\u2019s poster was the subject of a popular vote, settling on the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta out of a longlist of 100 cars. The Ford GT40 came second in the vote, followed by the Mercedes 300 SL. On the display, you\u2019ll see a former Ecurie Belge Ford GT40, an Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ1, \u2018XKD 606\u2019 or the 1957 Le Mans winning Jaguar D-Type and the Aston Martin DB3 Peter Collins used in the 1953 Mille Miglia. With many of the prominent Dutch and Belgian brokers present, expect some surprises on the stands as well. Motikon, of Sweden, will present the restored <a href=\"https:\/\/motikon.se\/car\/porsche-962c-1989\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Porsche 962C<\/a> they currently have on offer. Chassis #962-147 raced for Japan Team Taisan in Alphan Advan livery in the All Japan Championship in 1990, and in that year\u2019s Japanese WEC-round at Suzuka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was here the car scored its best result, coming in sixth, driven by Kunimitsu Takahashi and Kazuo Mogi. Between 2014 and 2016, the car was with Freisinger in Germany for a restoration. In 2016, Romain Dumas drove it at Le Mans Classic.
