Goodwood Revival of course. Minis almost rolling over each other fighting, glorious racing in the sunset, Jaguar E-Types sliding all over the place. A classic. Bonhams hammered an ex-Innes Ireland Lotus Elite S1 (1960) for 113.854 Euros (including premiums) at the Goodwood Sale, which also saw an ex-works MG M-Type Double Twelve Le Mans Sports (1924) find a new owner for 92.423 Euros. Indeed, Mercedes announced that from now on \u2018722\u2019, the Mercedes 300 SLR Stirling Moss and Dennis Jenkinson drove to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia, would only appear on static larger Internationale St Moritzer Automobilwoche, but still the undisputed highlight of this ever-larger automotive event in the Swiss Alps. It had Ronnie Kessel flying through the mountains in a Martini-liveried Alfa 155\u2026 I mean. Cyan Racing had 2017 touring car world champion Thed Bj\u00f6rk redecorate the Swiss tarmac with long black stripes in Cyan\u2019s Volvo P1800 restomod, whilst it had the championship-winning Volvo S60 on static display at the Motorsport Rendezvous garden party (where we also launched Tazio). Danish specialist Kalmar showed the impressive Kalmar RS, a Safari-style Porsche restomod. Judging by the pictures, they still had fun. The same can be said for the traditional Circuit des Remparts in Angoul\u00eame (France) and the first recreation of the 1000 km of the N\u00fcrburgring (on the Nordschleife) for historic race cars.
