Goodwood Members\u2019 Meeting once more looks set to be a success. Next to the racing, demos that are planned with Jaguar Sport XJR-15s, a tribute for Ayrton Senna stands out<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just the racing by itself is worth the trip. If you don\u2019t have tickets, don\u2019t worry: you can easily follow all the action from the 78th<\/sup> GRRC Member\u2019s Meeting live on the Goodwood website<\/a> and social media. We will of course be applauding our columnist Steve Soper, participating in a 3-litre Ford Capri III S. Plenty of other big names to cheer for as well. Just a selection: Tom Kristensen, Andy Priaulx, Beno\u00eet Treluyer, Jochen Mass, Chris Harris, Tiff Needell, Guy Smith, Nicolas Minassion, Andre Lotterer, Anthony Reid, Emanuele Pirro, Karun Chandhok, Stig Blomqvist, Marino Franchitti, Richard Attwood, and the list goes on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaguar Sport XJR-15<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the main attractions will be the demo run by the XJR-15s that were used in a famous one-make race series prior to three Grand Prix in the 1990 season. Armin Hahne, who won the 1 million dollar cash prize, will be present, just as David Brabham and Ian Flux, who raced the XJR-15s in period as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senna<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Most of the cars in the Ayrton Senna class are on display only, but Ayrton\u2019s nephew Bruno Senna will demonstrate the McLaren-Honda MP4\/6 his uncle drove in 1991. Will be present: the Brabham-BMW BT52 Ayrton tested in 1983, the 1987 Lotus-Honda 99T, the 1983 Williams-Cosworth FW08C Ayrton also tested in 1983, the 1985 Lotus-Renault 97T and the 1984 Toleman-Hart TG184.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
