This edition of the Mille Miglia was the longest yet, with a parcours covering 2200 kilometres in five days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrea Vesco drove to his sixth Mille Miglia win, of which the last four have been consecutive victories. He was assisted by Fabio Salvinelli, for whom this was the third Mille triumph. In their 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Zagato, the Scuderia Villa Trasqua duo led almost from start to finish. The Ladies\u2019 Cup went to Silvia Marini and Irene Dei Tos, who navigated their 1929 Bugatti Type 40 to 27<sup>th<\/sup> overall.
