In Tazio 9, we bring you a hand-picked selection of some of the finest stories that compose the 911\u2019s rich competition history. Rally, racing and even rally-raids. Our homage to the most versatile sports car the world has ever seen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, on September 12<sup>th<\/sup> to be precise, it will be exactly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IhhcRJ7OeYs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">60 years<\/a> since Porsche presented its new GT at the IAA motor show in Frankfurt. Even the desert proved no match for the 911. In its 60-day history, hardly a day has gone by without a 911 being thrown around a track or across a special stage. You have the unique sound of the flat-six, recognizable from afar. You have the unique positioning of the engine, behind the back axle. For years, Porsche has taken the 911 to the track to make it a better car. From a class winner, it became a giant slayer. In Tazio 9, we dive deep into the competition history of the 911, having curated seven extraordinary feature stories that document the extraordinary tale of the world\u2019s favourite sports car.
