Now available, the Limited Edition of Tazio 13. Signed by Volker Strycek. Just 50 numbered copies exist.

Here is the newest addition to our limited hardcover series. This time, our art director Maarten Deckers and our in-house artist Rafael Varela came up with a reinterpretation of the cover. Based on the idea of an engineering study, they reworked the cover image with the Porsche RS 61, on a deep blue background. The back cover shows the evolution of the Porsche 550 into the Porsche 718 RSK, culminating in the Porsche RS 61.

Director… and driver

This time, we asked Volker Strycek to sign the Limited Edition. Strycek had a long career in motorsport – he was the very first DTM champion in 1984 – before embarking on a long stint as Opel’s motorsport director. Strycek was unique, as he combined stints behind the wheel with overseeing operations. That was also the case with the Opel Astra DTM that would go on to win the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2003. Against all odds, he proved a DTM sprint car was able to win a 24-hour race on the most challenging circuit in the world. Later on, he got involved with the Opel Manta ‘fox tail’ that continues to charm crowds in the long-distance race series on the Nordschleife.

With Strycek, we add another great name to our Limited series, which now includes Jacky Ickx (9, sold out), Mario Andretti (7), Gerhard Berger (10, low on stock) and Klaus Ludwig (2, just 2 copies left).
